Here’s a step-by-step process for achieving the perfect Hollywood smile for every patient.
The ‘Hollywood’ Smile is a cosmetic procedure that creates the perfect shape, color and size of teeth for a perfect fit in the mouth. The most common cosmetic procedure is porcelain veneers, which are thin ceramic wafers designed to cover the surface of individual teeth.

During your Consultation & Smile Assessment, our Cosmetic Dentists will examine your teeth to establish if Porcelain Veneers are the appropriate choice for you, and will explain the full extent of the ‘Hollywood’ Smile Makeover procedure.
In this consultation, you will discuss the preferred shape, length, width and color of your new teeth. This is an opportunity to pre-set desired outcomes and expectations for the patient.
Our dentists will take impressions and photos of the patient’s mouth that will be used to develop the temporary veneers and preview the digital smile design of the new Hollywood Smile makeover for the second appointment.
This is done to ensure that new patients are 100% happy with their new smile before committing to it.
Using our in-house lab, the doctor creates a set of temporary veneers that are ready-to-apply as the patient proceeds with their design, based on the requirements of the initial consultation. A preview of the Digital Smile Design is also shown to the patient.
Our cosmetic dentists begin treatment of your patient’s teeth by removing a very thin layer (0.5mm) of enamel to make room for temporary veneers. Some patients may use local anesthesia.
Once the removal process is complete, a new mold is taken from the tooth and sent to our in-house laboratory where a permanent porcelain veneer is designed and manufactured.
On your third and final visit, your beautiful custom-made porcelain veneers will be applied.
Our cosmetic dentist will place veneers on your teeth for evaluation. Trimming or modification may be required for a perfect fit.
Once the veneer fits perfectly, the tooth is cleaned, polished, and etched to bond the veneer to a cement that permanently secures it.
A high-quality dental cement is applied to each veneer and attached to the tooth. Once in place, your cosmetic dentist uses a special light on each veneer to harden the dental cement. Once all the veneers are in place, it’s time to remove the excess cement, evaluate your bite and get your very own Hollywood smile!
A check-up appointment is required a few weeks after the procedure to ensure everything is perfect. Examine the patient’s mouth, gums, and porcelain veneers to see how everything aligns and reacts to each other. If all goes well, you’ve officially completed your transformation into a “Hollywood” smile.
